Because you deserve the same compassion you give to others.

Feeling stuck? Burned out? Like your tank is running on empty?

In a world that glorifies productivity, perfectionism, and filtered versions of reality, it’s easy to feel unseen, misunderstood, and overwhelmed. On the outside, it might look like you’ve got it all together—but on the inside, you may be battling constant self-doubt, anxiety, or a nagging sense of not being “enough.” You may find yourself swinging between procrastination and perfectionism, chasing validation, or avoiding vulnerability at all costs.

Life is supposed to be a journey of self-discovery—but instead, it often feels like a never-ending race for approval. Whether you’re struggling with body image, navigating toxic relationships, feeling pressure to succeed at school or work, or simply exhausted from always holding it together, you’re not alone. Many of us have learned to hide behind a polished exterior, fearing that if we’re truly seen, we won’t be accepted.

That’s where I come in.

Hi, I’m Jenna.

I work with individuals who are ready to stop white-knuckling through life and start feeling more connected, grounded, and free. My ideal client is someone who simply wants to feel better—even if they don’t know where to start. I embrace imperfection, because let’s be real—we’re all human. My approach is authentic, compassionate, and down-to-earth, often sprinkled with humor to help ease the heaviness.

I provide a warm, non-judgmental space where you can safely explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Whether you’re navigating life transitions, wrestling with shame and people-pleasing, processing the loss of a loved one (human or pet), or healing from complex trauma, I’m here to support you with care, curiosity, and respect.

Therapeutic Framework

I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). My approach is integrative and grounded in trauma-informed and attachment-based perspectives. I also incorporate elements of Compassion-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing (MI), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-based practices. Together, we will create a supportive and personalized path toward growth, resilience, and a deeper connection with yourself.

This is Bernie.

Meet Bernie, My Resident Therapy Dog-in-Training

I believe deeply in the healing power that animals bring, and Bernie embodies this beautifully. As a three-legged Great Pyrenees and a trauma survivor himself, Bernie has an extraordinary way of offering comfort that goes beyond words. His journey of resilience and post-traumatic growth has taught us so much about strength, patience, and healing. With his gentle presence and warm heart, Bernie is here to provide support and connection, reminding us all that recovery is possible—no matter the challenges we face.

Special Interests

  • Shame, People-Pleasing, and Maladaptive Perfectionism

I work with individuals to explore the underlying roots of shame, people-pleasing, and perfectionism—patterns that often lead to cycles of self-criticism, fear of failure, and burnout. Through compassionate, insight-driven work, we focus on building self-acceptance, embracing imperfection, and creating a more balanced, authentic way of living.

  • Young Adults and Life Transitions

Let’s face it—“adulting” isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. The pressure to succeed comes from every direction—family, friends, social media—often fueling comparison, self-doubt, and emotional paralysis. The fear of failure can feel overwhelming, leading to short-term coping behaviors that may carry long-term consequences. I help young adults navigate identity development, uncertainty, and the many stressors of this life stage with greater clarity, self-awareness, and confidence.

  • Grief & Loss- Pets and Humans

Losing a beloved animal companion can be as impactful as losing a human loved one. I offer a compassionate, understanding space to process the unique grief that comes with pet loss, honoring the bond you shared and helping you find a path toward healing and remembrance.
